Cornering FatigueTest.

  • The aim of the test is to simulate the dyanamic loading of wheel during cornering of the road.
  • The relevant forces acting on the wheel are combination of vertical road & lateral force developed between tire and ground.The two components of  loading result in a rotating bending moment on the hub of wheel.
  • The test machine shall have a driven rotatable device whereby either the wheel rotates under the influence of a stationary bending moment or the wheel is stationary and is subjected to a rotating bending moment. For testing fixture details.

 

Radial Fatigue Test:
